➞ Less of a neurotic, obsessive basketcase than she was at age 9. Still surly,
though, and always extra.
➞ Harbors a crush on you-know-who to this day and probably always will. They've dated on and off; currently, the relationship is very off.
➞ Tomboy in every sense of the word. Wears slouchy, dirty hats on the regular - her pink bow is hidden under them - and refuses to groom her eyebrows, which are slightly less unibrowish but bushy all the same.
➞ A lanky thing that probably gets mistaken for a boy when she doesn't wear pigtails.
➞ Her parents have their shit together a little more than they did back in the day (her dad is in the cell phone business instead of hawking beepers and her mom went to AA), but her older sister's still the golden child.
➞ Now an angsty teenage poet.
➞ Will fight you, your dog, your mom, and the whole wide world.

❥✧ Sour to Sweet: Or what we in the trade like to call tsundere. Helga's very much this canonically, so I'd love to play up how that would translate into a relationship. All that gruffness would make the times she does let someone in or is intimate with them more poignant.
❥✧ Longing Realized: Two characters have strong feelings for each other but are too shy to fess up. Instead, the pot of UST boils over into some explosive, passionate sex.
❥✧ Consensual Bullying: Whether the abuse takes the form of playful chiding or unfettered public humiliation, one half of a pair torments the other either through physical or emotional bullying. Only everything's not as it seems and the bullied partner is into the abuse. Like, really, really into it, though they only show it when the two are behind closed doors.
❥✧ First Times: I'm a dork who likes cute shit.
❥✧ Switching: The usually dominant partner, which is totally Helga, let's be real, takes a more submissive role and vice versa.
❥✧ Praise Kink: If you're canon familiar, this is pretty self-explanatory. As it stands, Helga gets about zero love and affection from her family, shunned instead to live in the shadow of her "perfect" sister. Her tendency to self-sabotage through aggression doesn't make her exactly popular with her peer group, either. For once, she needs somebody to tell her how great she can be. Oh, she'll blow any praise off, but she still deserves to hear it.
